With summer heat predicted to be up, it was time to give Centurion a look-over. This turned out to be productive - the original 1982 water pump was just starting to seep.... Time to replace it!

What should've taken just an hour took much more... After a cursory tightening, I spun the pump by hand.... I was scraping the timing cover:

Nothing a file and some time can't fix:

And while it was still light out, a heat barrier was installed on the firewall.
