Freebeard this is why I joined...I know a lot but I'm not a know it all. Thank you for the advice.the math required to do that by hand is beyond me... I had to build my canopy before I could wrap my head around how to draw it on paper. (Yes draw as in pencil and paper )I waited till it was built to start reaching the site for ideas to keep the idea pure and mying..as it turns out the way I "see"air flow matched the temple(I was off a small amount) . My uneducated guess CAN be close.as you can see from my V1 canape
The faucets are a result of using only 5 spars onV1 (hence the volume of supporting members suggested was for consistent raidi not strength) current V 1.2 they are reduced the only change to the skin support structure is the addition of 1/2" fome. Resulting in ~12"R insted of 1/4"R
V1.2
The way I've seen the boat wrap work each geometric panel would form a flat panel from bar to bar as in on V1, I could be seeing it rong.
How much would such a geodesic 1/4 dome weight in lbs made of 1/2 .095 round =.41lb/ft bair ,strong enough to hold out a road closing snow storm in the Sierra Nevada(10+feet in lessthan 6hrs.) I'm at 35lbs wraped
