A real pioneer in Land Speed racing is Jack Costella and he has helped build a series of cars called the Nebulous Theorem that this Honda seems to borrow from heavily.

This Honda streamliner would fit into the J engine class (Under 750cc). Those records are currently set at 266mph (Fuel) and 269mph (Gas) by the Costella & Yacoucci team with a 700cc engine.
