When my 12v battery died, it died very thoroughly before I even noticed it because the car doesn't use it to start. When it kicked the bucket, I noticed because I could start the car with the hybrid battery but the instrument cluster didn't come on and so I had no gauges. The radio didn't come on. The car ran, but it ran rough and had almost no power.

I think normal resting voltage for the battery is ~12.6v?

It's possible you have a bad ground strap somewhere too, I'd give them all a visual inspection.
