Matt Stone was talking about how he had bought a hybrid for his mom, and other hybrid owners were giving her thumbs up all the time. They also mentioned how the unusual looking hybrids were outselling the ones that looked like just like the non hybrid version. Because hybrid buyers wanted everyone to know at a glance that they were driving a hybrid because it makes a statment. That is what I remember.
Prius selling good cause it looks different, but a civic hybrid looks like a regular civic so it doesn't sell as well. I don't know if it is true, but it is funny.
