I run 13" VX rims on my 98 Dx Civic. 175/70-R13 Michelin Defenders (get those). I love 'em. My stock rim/tire was 185/65-R14, like yours.

And I know this will sound nuts but pumped up to 60psi like I always have them, I still see a 2.9% undercount on distance when I calculate it using a GPS app. I have run the calculation repeatedly.

Also, be aware, there are tradeoffs if you go LRR in addition to the 13" rims.... in heavy rain LRR tires, I am sure, do not have the same cornering and braking. So I drive slower and corner slower and keep an eye out ahead of me. Those are good driving techniques anyway.
