Ecomodder taught me to repair my dryer

Can I save $800 fixing the 16 year old, free Craig's list dryer by replacing the drive belt mee self? Yup. And can I get the door switch to work again for the dryer light and auto-off? Yup. That's about $1,200 in pretax dollars on my paycheck. And it took only 3 or 4 hours, from diagnosis to parts ordering, to installs. Great hourly rate!

Six years on ecomodder.com and attending YouTube Technical College while doing all car and home repairs gave me almost all the moderate skills I have.

Thank you all.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
