best trip economy so far
72 MPG US round trip this weekend. That's a best yet for this car.
~200 km / 120 miles, on the scenic back roads with a posted speed of 80 km/h = 50 mph. Also included going through a couple of villages.
Conditions: mild weather (18 C / upper 60's F).
Style: driving with load at or near the speed limit, engine-off approaching most stops/turns and on a couple of hills.
Significant factor: I experienced the eco-driver's nirvana of a tailwind on both legs of the trip!
