My Forester had terrible roll. I thought Dad's F150 would be even worse, but it was great.

Suspension / stripped interior noise
Noticeably softer, but not terribly so. Nowhere NEAR the roll of a stock '14/'15 Mirage.
I'm going to shorten the springs a little more.
---
As for the noise from the stripped out rear interior...
I'd say it's similar to a passenger jet at cruising altitude. Noticeably present white noise, but not horrible. Interestingly, at 80 km/h, most of the noise seems to be from wind, not the tires (on smooth asphalt).

skirts
Messing around with a new possible rear skirt design. They need to be longer, and if I trim the side off the rear bumper cover, I can taper sooner.
And, yes, that cardboard Kammback has been on the car since last fall. Somehow I've avoided getting caught in the rain since then. The snow didn't bother it as long as I brushed it off before it melted.

No structure.
There are cardboard "stand-offs" on either side of the wheel arch to keep the cardboard off the tire.

I've always liked the Blackfly's skirts. So this will be similar, with a exhaust vent from the wheelwell?

Do you have speed control bump strips in your locale? 3 1/2" is needed around here.

How much of a gap do you usually have between the wheels and the skirts?

Gap: less than an inch.
freebeard: skirts will be similar at the leading edge, but I'm going to extend them to back further, similar to Iveyjh's:
I also want to do a test on whether that style of rocker panel skirt helps.
I do encounter speed bumps, but there's still enough clearance. I'll probably only lower another inch or less.

best trip economy so far
72 MPG US round trip this weekend. That's a best yet for this car.
~200 km / 120 miles, on the scenic back roads with a posted speed of 80 km/h = 50 mph. Also included going through a couple of villages.
Conditions: mild weather (18 C / upper 60's F).
Style: driving with load at or near the speed limit, engine-off approaching most stops/turns and on a couple of hills.
Significant factor: I experienced the eco-driver's nirvana of a tailwind on both legs of the trip!
