I'm sure it would depend on the rack but Honda's OEM system has failure rates low enough that I've never heard of issues with it on any vehicle, ever. There's no fluid to deal with, no hoses to leak, just a small electric motor with a worm gear attached to what is otherwise a manual steering rack, and a torque sensor that detects which way you're trying to turn the wheels.
