Our VFR 800s would exhibit that behavior below 3000, but 4000? :/
Final gearing so long, as in too long? Mine would be at 4800 rpm at 70 mph. If I end up with that SV650 I’m going to gear it in such a way that it will be at 4150 rpm at 70.
