I searched for Turbogauge, and it looks like a version of the ScanGauge made in the U.S.
If it is similar, there should be a feature that allows you to calibrate your readings to better match the car's actual consumption. You enter an "offset" fuel use value manually, or simply tell it how much fuel you used at each fill. After a few tanks, it should be pretty close.
