My little Viffer is down for maintenance at the moment, engine out of the frame and everything. While the engine was out, I decided to weigh it. Coolant and oil drained, exhaust removed.
How much does a mini V4 weigh? 125 pounds!

Everything got taken apart to get a broken engine mount welded back on, and my dad and I have been experimenting with powder coating, so the flaking and corroded covers are being sandblasted and repainted. Waiting on the correct color before I can do them all. I have too shiny and too dull blacks. An in between black is on the way, it should look really nice!
Also while the engine is out, i'm going to pull the clutch cover off and see how many plates there are, it's time for a new clutch.
