Vote by mail certainly allows a lazier form of voting, and is more susceptible to fraud since anyone with access to your mail could vote on your behalf. That said, whatever shift in participation this may cause will eventually return to a new normal, as the pendulum seeks it's center. Fraud likewise is probably net neutral since people in both parties are as likely to act fradulently.

I accept the decisions Oregon voters have made even if I don't agree with most of them. If when things get intolerable, I'll move. I'm a big fan of states determining their own path forward.

As far as juicy theories, I don't really have one. I suppose I like the theory that the flat earther who died in a rocketry accident didn't really believe the earth was flat, but instead wanted to fund a rocketry hobby from gullible believers.
