^ True enough.
I'm too, ahem, fiscally conservative to have two of my vehicles insured at the same time. One day, when I win the lottery...

I've already been Mirage shopping again. Well, let's say tire-kicking.
The above beauty -- decked out in ALL the dealer-installed bling you could double-sided tape onto it -- is the same year, make, trim & kilometers as my first one. Similar story too: traded in at a new car dealer in Ottawa (Chrysler/Jeep) that doesn't want to put any money into it, so they stuck it out back in the "as-is" section. Minor cosmetic damage, too (but not as bad as Mirage #1).
Get this: they've had it since LAST JULY!
They started out asking a delusional $5500. Eventually lowered to $3500, which is still a bit too much if I'm thinking about using it as a winter beater and then flipping it next spring (which I am thinking). I want a bit more buffer than that, knowing what I should be able to get for it next year. Have to factor in taxes, repairs, inspections & time investment.
For sitting so long, it's going to need a battery and brake work, at minimum.
I made an offer, which they didn't accept. They made a counter-offer, which I didn't accept. I thanked them for their time and left.
We were close though (couple of hundred apart). I'm honestly surprised they didn't contact me to follow up. I would have thought they need to get rid of it more than I need to buy it. Then again, maybe they really enjoy looking at it, considering how long it's been there.
