So I began to open it up today, and I am (of course) confused because totally inexperienced. To me this looks like 70 maybe Panasonic 18650 Lithium Ion cells. The battery is a 14ahr, 36volt battery. It fully charged at about 41.8 volts.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
