That is great, JJ! Thanks a ton. Now I know for sure what I actually have. No more educated guessing. But check this out ....

While further dismantling and inspecting, reading, finding the BMS board... I realize that I think I did my voltage test wrong two months ago, when I gave it up for lost. I did not have the key! So I go find the key, turn the switch on and this...



AFTER ONE FIREWORKS DISPLAY OF SPARKS and then nearly 2 years of sitting without charging the pack is down about 1 volt from full charge. I would say that it is a pretty good sign. Now I just gotta put it together safely and solder on a replacement charging connection (I burned the other one).
