My experience with a less than 100% weatherproof, fun vehicle (MPGiata) is that it has shifted my perspective on what I would have thought was "suitable" convertible weather.
I'm now that guy who puts the top down in early November if it's sunny and 10C / 50F out. (Any colder than that and I risk not being able to close the roof again ... the old vinyl shrinks and is prone to cracking if cold.)
Then again, it has a heater. I didn't ride my motorcycle much in the cold.
