Logging in for the first time in about three years to share this update with you all:
Today marks the 8th anniversary of this evBike that I built here on this forum. Have ridden it over 6,000 miles so far. This photo is its current configuration. That is the original battery. It was at least 52lbs when I first built it. Its handling was awkward, too, because so much weight was high and distributed to the ends. It now weighs about 39lbs and the weight is more central and low. I am also 20lbs lighter now and much stronger. Love it. Commute on it all the time.
