kilotank

I filled up a week or so back and passed a new milestone:

First tank over 1000 km!

Ended up filling at 1048 km = 651 miles, at 3.1 L/100 km = 77 MPG (US)

The car's digital fuel gauge display was freaking out. It will start blinking the last (out of 10) bars when you're getting close to "empty"... then the last bar disappears and the entire gauge starts blinking. It's an existential moment.

I carried a small jerry can with me on my last trip to be safe, and then discovered when I filled up that I could have gone about another 100 km!
