^ I hate it when that happens - circumstances taking you off your most efficient route that you know like the back of your hand. 42 in the Cobalt is still nothing to sneeze at.

I have to remind people when I post silly MPG numbers that my usual driving environment is about as good as it gets for ecodriving. Also, lots of little ecomods on the car.

Yeah. The 1.0L would have been good for about 7% better MPG right out of the box. I would have bought one in a heartbeat.

Some Euro countries had the choice of either the 1.0 or 1.2, but it might just be the 1.2 now. Japan only had the 1.0 (and only with the CVT), but the car was cancelled there last year.

I figure 2024 will be the last model year for the Mirage in Canada & the U.S. Europe will probably replace it with the new Colt (rebadged Renault Clio).
