I know several people who got BETTER mileage running WVO than petro-diesel.

I wouldn't mess with converting a Civic though.

A guy I know has a pair of old Mercedes, the one runs on Bio-Diesel, the other on WVO. He makes his own bio-diesel in the garage in the summer, and stock-piles it for the winter. (It's easier to make at warm temperatures.)

Kit's to convert a vehicle to waste vegetable oil system aren't terribly expensive, I think a lot of them run around $1200. Greasecar is a popular one I have heard mentioned a lot. Or get creative and build your own!
