Correct me if I'm misinterpreting your opinion. I implied that justice is extracting what is owed from the wrongdoer, and making whole the wronged. My last statement was that anything else is injustice, by definition.
The set of circumstances are;
- The wrongdoers pay the wronged
- The wrongdoers pay the not-wronged
- The not-wrongdoers pay the wronged
- The not-wrondoers pay the not-wronged
The definition of justice includes only one of those scenarios, and as such, any other definition is injustice. Do you disagree, and if so, how?

Chattel slavery is not a case of individual exploitation- it's a case of systemic exploitation, and therefore the solutions should be systemic.

Agreed, and the exploited are long dead along with the exploiters, so it's relegated to history.
What solutions do you propose to right history for Genghis Khan? That system was pretty barbaric. Which reminds me, what solutions do you propose for Barbarism?
We're all waiting in anticipation for your solution to Kane's offence against Able. I guess God must pay since he let people make decisions. Would make for a wild story; God repaying the sins of mankind.

It wasn't outlaws who exploited slaves- it was legalized exploitation. So, again, the solutions should be systemic.

Like, outlawing slavery? Perhaps a system of no slavery? If that doesn't exist, I propose a system of no slavery, and harsh penalties for those who practice slavery.

The US benefited from the systemic exploitation of slaves- as in, the collective benefited, therefore the collective is who should make reparations.

Agreed. All them folks are dead, which is the problem. Current humanity also benefited from every caveman that clubbed a rival male to death and created our lineage, which has a 100% unbroken chain of reproduction among millions (probably orders of magnitude more) of generations. By definition, 100% of people alive today are the result of an unfathomable amount of prior exploitation.
The way you honor that privilege is to elevate yourself and the next generation by setting standards that are non-discriminatory across arbitrary categories like skin hue. All people are respected when those standards are expected of all, and when excellence is admired wherever it is found.

We know which group of people was wronged, and that those wrongs caused lasting generational harm, therefore we know what group is owed reparations.

Agreed. The dead folk who did not reproduce were exploited, and have no generation. Still don't have that time machine to make everything "better".
