These days, you can buy a used, decade-old OEM EV with a degraded battery for the same amount of money we put into the ForkenSwift.
Same or better range as the FS (~40-50 km / 25-30 mi.), with vastly better performance & all the creature comforts!
EG. this used hard, put away wet 2012 Leaf for $1500...
I've been half-assedly looking for a used Leaf for my folks. 95% of their transportation needs are short trips, town driving.
You can find well cared for ones for $3k - $4k.
