I'm starting to think it's a voltage problem. It froze and / or reset a few times today, usually when I had a large load on the batteries. I am running without alternator and voltage drops under 12 sometimes. I will have to hook it up to a separate battery and in an enclosure to eliminate those possibilities.

Is there a minimum voltage where it resets or data is corrupted?

If that does not do the trick next possible cause would be signal issues, I guess, reading from other posts.
