Amazing story. I also got a minor run around when going for my emissions exemption.

Turns out anyone in the province of Ontario can simply go to the licence office and say "my car is 100% electric" and they're supposed to exempt you. No letter needed, no inspection required.

I'm sure if the general population knew this, the number of "EV's" on the books (particularly older models prone to failing emissions tests) would suddenly skyrocket.

Surely others in your state have gone through this. No helpful advice from your EV posse?
