Pretty much just P&G (engine on) and DWB. I did a tiny amount of drafting, but everyone was driving faster than me so it never lasted long.

I just did the 'Cut the Yellow Wire' DRL-delete mod. It's so nice! No more automatic headlights or energy-sucking DRLs. This morning I actually got to decide when to turn on the headlights. Wow! What a concept!

Anyone have any problems with real low temps and the MAF sensor? When it gets down to around 0°F out, my car likes to throw a bad MAF sensor code. It doesn't happen consistently, and as soon as it warms up the problem goes away completely.

Hey there- My wife and I purchased an '05 Matrix XR 5-sp about a month ago and I really appreciated reading Daox's Matrix build and I love trikkonceptz's front bumper/grille mod. Very nice. So far, I'm just a lurker, most of my time is eaten up by renovating my 1860's house but I'd love to at least get the Matrix to be able to match our old '96 Saturn SC1's 40mpg. Currently we're not doing so hot, last trip from D.C to Philly was ~32 mpg @75-80mph (just keeping with the flow of traffic... really, I swear...). I know that's not the most eco-friendly way to drive, and the Thule roof rack causes a lot of drag and becomes an even bigger penalty at 75+ but, like I said, we just got the car and we're just getting used to it. I drive fairly gently so I like to blame most of this on the roof rack since the old Saturn could do 40mpg @75mph no problem; great little car but ultimately too small for our needs.
I just stumbled onto the Vibe/Matrix group and thought I'd give a shout-out.
Thanks, SlowMo
(Mo is my beloved '87 Toyota truck (22R-carb, auto, longbed) I keep around as my home-supply-runner and backup vehicle, ~20mpg in city driving, ~3,000 mi/year)

Welcome, SlowMo! Removing that roof rack should net you a handy improvement. Maybe not huge, but noticeable.
