Surprisingly it was only something like 3 forward and backward movements. Maybe 30-40 seconds?

Nice squeeze! But I have a feeling that Jeep might not hesitfate to tap your rear bumper cover with his plate.

If it stops raining today, I plan to yank it out and take a look inside. I haven't been able to find any pictures of what the DC-DC converter looks like opened up.

Has anyone ever measured how much 12V power the Insight uses?

I know my 2nd gen Prius seems to be an absolute hog on the 12V system. My SG shows a ~300W draw on the hybrid pack just sitting doing nothing (engine off).

I've myself have seen up over 500W sustained for about ~1Hr .. as seen from the HV side (V x A ) for DC-DC only use .. as reported on the OBDII-C&C .. When I used it as a whole pack level discharger.

With very few loads I've also seen it go down to under 200W.

But if you are looking for more in depth information .. or absolute max / min .. Peter and Mudder are the people to ask.

PeterP (UK) .. Some is in his

Mudder (US) .. Some is in his

Here's my completed antenna base delete, custom plugs courtesy of eBay's Alloy and Carbon. The plug sizes are 25mm and 18mm:

Don't mind the really dirty roof:

For what it's worth, the owner of the eBay store offered to make me a custom rear wiper plug at no cost with the order of these two roof plugs, in case anyone on here wants to do all three.

After seeing how bad Daox's VTEC solenoid filter was, I decided to check on mine. Looked pretty good after 220k miles and 17 years:
