I have scangauge, it just isnt installed, on my previously vehicle I did not feel that it helped that much.

Tires are at about 5 PSI less than OE tire max rating.

A grill block could be in the works.

110% agree if i have shell out a bit more money to get a few extra mpg I am ok with that in reason. As the mpg i get the more saving I am getting the long run to an extent.

OEM hybrid wheels i found for 180 used locally.

One thing to ensure is that the wheels not only are similar in lug pattern but also offset (how far in or out the hub face is from the center of the wheel) and seat type (is the wheel centered on the hub or on the lug nuts). This will prevent you from having any bearing or balancing issues respectively.
I mam 100% sure on the weight but if they are like HX or VX wheels from a civic i assume they are lighter than normal, and super "smooth".

I do however know that they will fit fine with correct bolt pattern and offset, all i will need is different tires since the diameter is different.

To get to 35,from 30.8 would require about a 27% drag reduction,or,from Cd 0.27,to Cd 0.197.
HONDA has already worked on the grille a bit.Allowing a 6% reduction would give delta 0.0162.
Pulling the passenger side mirror ,maybe delta 0.0135.
Together, you'd be looking at Cd 0.2403.
Dropping the car 2" according to some, will cut some frontal area, but not really alter the Cd significantly. If we allowed delta 0.01,we'd come in at Cd 0.23,still 0.04 short of 0.19.
I feel like you'd have to go 'deeper' on the aero to get to 35 mpg.
What about pulling both mirror?
What about adding aero wheels?
What about a front lip diffuser, and bumper block off?

I dont really want to boat tail such a nice car. I am not opposed to a belly pan but that is a ton of work.

*Until laws are changed, you'll be required to maintain the driver's side mirror. You might improve on HONDA's design, the votes aren't in on that yet.
*Minimally-ventilated full-coverage wheel covers could cut drag up to 0.027.That could get you to Cd 0.213 if you could stand the look. Here's GM's little devils from their 1991 Cd 0.19 Ultralite. They would be a great model to copy.

*A set of rear skirts might also be good for 0.02
*And a close examination of the cars underside might allow for some cleanup which wouldn't be visible, which has been mentioned.
*The grille block we've talked about already includes the nose modifications.

so your saying that a trying to achieve a relieable 35 mpg hwy is more than likely out of the question without major work.

What speed are you driving now to get 30,2 mpg? I got 35 mpg in a 1985 2.3 Volvo doing 60 mph. So it shouldn't be to hard to get those numbers in a 2005 2.4 liter Acura.
