260 miles at half mark ~ 520 miles full tank
520miles/12gal ~ 43miles/gal
Pretty accurate. I got the same number, too.

Yeah, sometimes, I stuck on freeway and go only 5 mph. Traffic is bad in Bayarea. I would like to have low gas price like you and more 45mph country road. Cruising at 35 mph to 40 mph in flat road saves the most gas. I can hit 80mpg in SG reading.

What confused me was that my last 43mpg tank was at 240 for half, so I must have lost that 20 miles over the whole tank from red lights, idling, town driving, etc. 520miles would be a feat, and pretty scary!

It's raining, and I hate the rain. If I had an under tray fastened with tape it would most certainly fall off right now.

I think my CAI probably causes the engine to use more gas to compensate for the increased air coming in too. Not exactly sure of course.

Yeah I couldn't believe gas was $3.49 in Virginia.

I noticed the fuel meter stop at half mark quite long. From 230 to 260 is only a hair above and below the half mark.

So maybe I just read it wrong, or the gauge was lying to me which is common.

I really want to reach 45mpg, but I don't know if I can pull it off with my commutes, aero, or CAI sucking up gas.

45mpg needs 540miles a tank. Not easy to squeeze another 30 miles.

Yeah or 270 just right after halfway. 11.9 gallon total, so about 6 gallons at half.

I don't know what makes me more angry, me being stuck in traffic or watching people sit in the college parking lot with their car on taking a nap...or people that turn their Envoy on and then put the groceries in! OMG.

It's raining or else I'd take some sexy pics of the Box.

A thread of making rear pan for xb
Aero aids on an xB. - GasSavers.org - Helping You Save at the Pump

He did a very good job, but mpg doesn't go up much.
