Car Talk-The Ugly Accident; Two ecomodders nominated
As a fan NPR's Car Talk, I come to appreciate the humor wrapped around ugly cars. Car Talk recently put together a contest, " The Ugly Accident." I knew one of use was bound to be nominated.
At least two fellow members made the list:
A black Geo Metro (JohnNeiferd)
Honda Civic station wagon even hosted an ecomodder sticker. (member???)
Congratulations and keep up your hard work!

Neither link is available - and the article only has nine photos; none are of EcoModder cars.

I love one of the commenters: "I'll bet the added weight of the plastic offsets and aerodynamic gains..."
Yep, I'll bet it does. Ecomodding is stupid.

The links worked for me though I had to click them a few times. Some of the people who commented on those images are missing the boat on hypermiling if that's what they think.

Going through my memories, I'm wondering if there's one instance in which sarcasm actually was beneficial.

Sometimes people just don't get it, so they laugh. Give 'em what they want. But that wild and wavy painted Chrysler Imperial is beautiful.
