I don't know at what point the ECU gives up cranking up long therm fuel trims and throws an error code.

I could perhaps also just fit larger injectors to make it run on E-85, would probably be cheapest if I source them from a blown engine.
2ZZ-GE injectors would get me 130% of my current injectors.
to run E-85, I'll need 145% fuel flow compared to E-10.
So my fuel trims need to make up for 7,4%, something the ECU might actualy be able to do.

Usually the fuel trims for ethanol are around 30% higher-flow than for gasoline, but it used to be the case for Brazil where pure ethanol with some residual water content is used and gasoline has some high volume of ethanol blended to it.

Yes, and the larger injectors would make up for a 30% increase.

So upping the fuel rail pressure won't give enough flow?

On my F250 going from 50 psi to 75 on the bypass return valve gives you another 75 hp until the computer relearns the fuel trim.

AFAIK that's not an option in my car as it doesn't use a fuel return line and I don't know where the regulator would be.

However with a programmable ECU I could build an interesting map, sadly these things are expensive...
