today is the first day they will be on for 12 hours straight so i hope everything is going to be fine. I mean its only drawing like 21 watts total so i dont think heat should be an issue. Its been 6 hours so far and its a little warm in the middle but no way is it hot. Keeping my fingers crossed... the shimmer effect i get from these is outa this world, just like halide lamps. im loving it!!!

I'm bringing my camera home tonight, so I will get pics up of the current light set up.

In the end though, I will have only 36 LED's, 18 white and 18 blue to light my 180.

But you are absolutely right in how nicely they shimmer.
