Ow man. There is no such thing as a soft kill.
The whole kill concept defies the deep respect I feel towards Darin and Tim and all others that keep this site worth visiting over and over again.

As for "a soft kill" I am instantly reminded to that Spitting Image scene where the evolution of the voice of Margaret Thatcher is scrutinized.
In her early years her voice was soft and mellow:

I aptly cannot find a link to that scene

But yeah, an outstanding effort from a local... radio station? Hopefully this Michelle Basch ends up going places: any journalist who can do a writeup on an ecomodded car without playing it as a sideshow freak needs to move up.
Consumer Reports is very expensive toilet paper.

The "going slower than anybody else on the road is dangerous" line these articles always tow is beyond annoying. I'm always too slow for some jackass that wants to do 30mph over the limit. That's his/her problem.

1. Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
2. People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.

Oops, sorry, that's for skiers. Drivers don't have any responsibilities.

I insist there is no "speed of traffic." Everyone is different and insists on driving a different speed (over the limit), with a different ability\tendency to maintain that speed. Am I supposed to do my best to drive so that half of drivers think that I am driving dangerously by going too slow and half think I am driving dangerously by driving too fast?

I am at Mom's house, which involves driving a hundred and sixty miles up and down mountains and through canyons. It takes four hours at 55 MPH, although everything indicates my speedometer reads 4 MPH fast. For various reasons, I try to leave early in the morning, but I did not leave until 09 yesterday. I know the HX supposedly usually follows various rules for lean burn, the one I remember is 2,600 RPM, so I did my best to maintain that, which was usually 69 MPH according to my dash.

The speed limit down the canyon is 55 MPH and I was engine braking in third gear about seventy. Huge SUVs were tailgating me around the corners and cutting off everyone as they wove through traffic.

Obviously, I and my 2,500 pounds of Civic were a menace to society!

I'm wondering if this vehicle has any other common mods not visible like a bellypan?

Also wondering why no wheel covers, which I thought were a common first mod and relatively inexpensive for a decent gain?

That isn't what was said or implied.
What's in this for you?
