Can you fold it to make a half-tonneau?

It's a tri-fold cover so the rear two slats fold toward the front then there's a snap tie to hold it in place. So two thirds of it can be open and I can still see really well out the back.
Supposedly you can stand on it but I just can't bring myself to try it
It will (potentially) save (a little) gas, but I mostly wanted to be able to go on a trip and store stuff dry and secure in the bed. With the (tiny) amount of gas savings I estimate the ROI to be around 200-300 years give or take a century

Yeah, if it would fold to the rear, then your ROI would be more like 150 years.

Hanging with the big boys
My Maverick looks like what you'd get if that F150 and the Chevy Silverado had a baby

One thing I have seen in the Maverick chat forum is the Ecoboost getting up to 37mpg on highway trips

Doesn't need to go that far... It might be harder to find a Fiat Strada there, even though I guess once in a while it might be easy to spot one rebadged as a Ram 700 with Mexican plates in Texas or other states with a border crossing point.

I've heard that too but not sure how much I believe it - I get about 33-34 mpg on the highway in the hybrid depending on speed but overall I'm averaging over 40 mpg since I spend a lot of the time in EV mode around town
