Dave, you'll have to contact him through his web site for him to see your offer.
I don't think he's getting notified of replies to these threads any more (see http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post205422 )

It was more of a challenge/bet than an offer. I'm that certain that his claims are <bovine excrement> that I'm only willing to try it at no cost. If he wins, he's $50 richer, and I'm getting 10%+ better FE. If he loses, he's out the cost of the fuel I burned testing it. (If he pays.)
I'm not that enthusiastic about testing his mod because, like most of us here, I have absolutely NO reason to believe that it actually works.
And, for what it's worth, I have an Engineering degree.
BTW, my "offer" expires 12-31-2010.

Gadgetman Groove Still Going Strong
I am back here to encourage you all to look into my discovery more deeply, as well as to offer whatever I have learned to help increase your own efforts at enhancing mileage.
While there are literally hundreds of video reports on YouTube of its continued success, there still exists a great amount of skepticism about its application and results.
Given the negative tone so far, it is my hope you will do some further research into what has been accomplished since I was here last, focusing on the forums at my web site [admin removed URL]. There, hundreds of people who are actually applying the technology discuss their results, whether they be good or challenging.
Please understand this is my attempt to garner some more support due to the overwhelming response engines have to its application, hopefully to find some of you may change your mind and be willing to at least test this tech.
It is only aerodynamics, although applied in a different manner. What's that gonna hurt?

oh boy....."he's BACK"!!!
so I understand......
this little thread is somehow jumping to the top of search engines.....after 2 yrs of being dormant......
And even though you have been successful over the last two yrs....you want us to 'change our minds?
Please spend 3 minutes and re-read this thread.
Do a little self-analysis to discover why we 'arent jumping on the band wagon'.
1. do a-b-a testing
2. hook up with one of the offers to test your 'grove'.
but don't come begging with your poor me story.
Ron,
there is in life, repeated patterns. That's why FBI, law enforcement etc have profilers. Now the interesting thing about behavior patterns is that you can only see them when looking at a large group. Then the odd duck pattern of a few starts to appear.
You comments are VERY similar to others who have 'invented, created etc' and presented it here without testing.
Really. Same irrational comments about testimonials, us being closed minded etc....
As I stated earlier......this is a VERY outside the box group of posters. Really. I almost feel pain at some of the things that are tried. But the difference between you and them???? They test it. Sometimes they prove it works.....other times .....not so much. But REGARDLESS......they have earned our everlasting respect for taking the risk.
Your resistance falls into the pattern of behavior of those who end up in the unicorn corral.

Ron, I'm offering (again) to test your modification for a year. It takes a full year to properly evaluate modifications due to seasonal differences in temperature and fuel composition.
Here's the deal:
You send me a throttle body for a 2007 Ford Mustang V-6 with the "Gadgetman Groove"
modification.
I'll test it for a year without making ANY changes to my driving technique. (My yearly average over the last 4 years has been very consistent.)
If my average MPG for the year is greater than a 10% improvement over my current lifetime average MPG, I'll send you my old throttle body and a check for $50 for the modification.
If my average MPG for the year is within the average over the last four years, I'll send the modified throttle body back to you. (I'll even pay for shipping.)
If my average MPG for the year is worse than my average over the last four years, I'll send the modified throttle body back to you after you pay for the fuel I burned testing your "Gadgetman Groove".
If you're interested in having me test your modification, please PM me for my shipping address.
Put up or shut up.

You know, all your animosity aside, it would be my pleasure to do this. But I do believe one full year is a bit extreme, don't you?
I will make a counter-offer. 90 days before payment. But I don't inventory electronic throttle bodies. Too many variables. So your old one will do me no good. Second, my cost is $110 each time I do a mod. The cost for the throttle assembly (if it's a 4.6L) is between $150 and $300.
At least make it where I can break even and you have a deal.
Now, for the benefit of others reading this, if you have a vehicle that is drive by cable, I can do this much easier, and would be willing to extend this offer (depending on the vehicle) to a total of three individuals. That way, even if one has a vacuum leak (kills the effects) you will still have enough people to give a valid report.
Will that work for you guys?
Also, I would ask you to visit the Forums on [web site URL removed by admin] to see what's really happening.
Now, can we actually set aside the animosity long enough to allow you to gather the data you need?
