That is a very weird comment. The Volt has a ~9 gallon gas tank and an eletric generator.

My longest trip in my Volt was 469 miles (11/13/2016 in my fuel log), in a return trip where I was able to get very little charging before returning home. 3.6 kHw consumed along with about 10.6 gallons of gas (topped off about half way through)

So, unless gas stations are more than 450 miles apart, I do not have "Volt range anxiety."

You beat me to it.

Range anxiety doesn't exist in the Volt, anybody who says it does obviously doesn't own one or understand how they work.

You can gas it up like a regular car and never charge it, and you'll still get 40+ mpg and go way over 300 miles on the (8.9 gallon) tank, then just fill it up and drive again.

I could charge overnight and fill up the tank on my way out of Lakeland and drive to Key West on a tank.

Perhaps we can agree that arguing about a subjective statement is useless.

It's not a rolling coffin, but it is small.

You all missed the point: it IS NOT called the Chevy PETROL. People think it's electric and 40 mile range is a deal killer. Doesn't help that chevy isn't promoting like a hybrid.

Your "point" makes no sense. At all.

I think you are missing our point that no one who drives a Volt has range anxiety.

Sure, and if you had 19 kids, a bus might feel cramped :-)
