Shortening wheelbase
I used a couple ratchet straps to hold it together while I measured before welding it together.

Inner frame rail was shortened 11” and fell right into place.

With HIGH currents thru those ORANGE cables you probably do NOT want to 'loop' them because that turns them effectively into COILS, which can concentrate EMF fields...not a good thing, especially for nearby electronic devices of ANY type.

No worries there. DC current loops produce a constant magnetic field, but a single loop does only provide a very weak field even when the current is high.
Also, the orange tube contains both leads so the fields they produce cancel each other out.

I wasn't aware there were TWO leads in each of the multiple ORANGE cables, so their fields would indeed cancel each other.
