I do need to lower the rear about an inch, the "rake" is adding to my frontal area. I don't think the first pic is totally level, so it's a bit exaggerated, but the back of the roof is higher than the front. Same with the rockers and skirts. I just hope I can get the rusted shock bolts out in one piece! I'd lower the whole car, but I drive in snow and occasionally off road. The front air dam and skirts are about level with the lowest parts of the underbody, maybe a little lower.
It's actually lower in winter with my smaller snow tires. The air dam plows snow pretty good!

Big Dave...I attached my side skirts on with 2 bolts on to my belly pan supports. Easy to remove with either a ratchet or drill driver. You should reconsider it and take another shot at it.

Sounds about right, I used to get 38 MPG without trying. The Wagons are rare. Sadly the trailing arm bushing mounts have rust creeping up to them. And the outer rocker panels are mostly missing under the plastic. This was the first time I pulled those plastic pieces off. Not pretty under there! I love this car. It's a go kart that can swallow a large wheelbarrow.

Without the rust your car probably be heavier and gets less MPG's
|

Just "loweing" screws up camber angles, wears out tires faster and there for not very economical.

That's what the camber kit is for I have one on my Del Sol its lowered 2.5" and does not wear tires at all
