If they are good, i will definitely get them.

I want to use them for regenerative braking aswell so the added capacity will be appreciated.

How do you refurbish caps?

I'd be skeptical and perform thorough testing once you receive them. Might buy an extra 2 just in case a couple of them don't match the performance of the others. It's important for caps to be matched well.

I am also in the market for a set of 350f caps for the motorbike.

And try to run without a battery at all. Worst case I can use a couple of boost converters and a bunch of lithium batteries to start it. (By charging the caps.

It should work, as I run 400f caps in my motorcycle that is fuel injected and has a computer (computer drains caps in about 3 days).

That said, I think the ideal solution is a LiFePO4 as long as you don't drive the bike in freezing temperatures.

I would end up forgetting the lithiums hooked up and kill them.

I would have that pack aswell for aux power to the laptop and phone and then boost the caps to the bilke when needed.

Inwas fond of the graphene brand name batteries from hobby king.

If you use caps, go small and pair with a battery, unless you're plugging your car in everyday. Caps self-discharge much faster than batteries do, so you really want to just use the minimum amount to boost the starting capability if you absolutely have to.

Honestly, LTO has made the typical activated charcoal EDLC pretty obsolete. LTOs have absurdly high power density and cycle endurance. If you want to save a few bucks, you can get vanilla LiFePO4 and pair it with supercaps, but that combo will self-discharge faster and the battery can't go below freezing.

Maybe someday we'll have carbon nanotube EDLCs that can completely replace starter batteries, but for now a battery is still good to have.

I desire to go completely alternator free. ( 0 load alternator, but still in place).

I have purchased a 6.7 kWh battery pack same modules as on the Hyundai ionic.
