Everyone must understand that the GEO that got damaged belongs to the towing company now and was beyond repair. Now I would like to respectfully request a list of older cars that had good gas mileage when they rolled out of the factory. Thanks

Old-school stuff being easier to adapt to run on waste cooking greases are cool.

Oh ya! I forgot about the Toyota Echo! That would be another car to add to the list.

Even the povertry-spec model which was available in other countries look good.

Obligatory Honda Civic recommendation (1992-2005). Also...

Older Toyota Yaris models. And older Honda Fit years, like 2007-2009. Older Chevy Sonics with the 6 speed manual (rare, probably). You might look at the old Chevy Cruze Eco with 6 speed manual too. A early 00s Saturn SC1 (get the three-door coupe if you can find it... the third door opens like a "suicide door" on the driver side).

I remember the only Saturn SC I used to see on the wild, more than 20 years ago. But that was a mid-90s model, without that suicide door.

Maybe it is the SC2, but here is a picture... I almost bought one of these a few years ago when one came along at a good price... but it had issues I did not want to sort out.

I don't believe I have seen more than a handful of Saturns here anyway.
