You'll see stupid claims of 50% fuel efficiency, in addition to 100HP addition.. and it's a resistor that you wire into one of your sensors.

These blowers were made into pipe kits that "added up to 200 horsepowers to your mad-tyte JDM rizyde!"

Do you know the actual cfm that this blower puts out? I haven't tested it yet. I guess if I have a big garbage bag, I could time how long it takes to fill it, and figure the volume. I didn't order this from something making any claims. It was from a marine supply shop. I think they use the blowers for removing gasoline smells or something.

Nope, never bought/tested one.. I just know it's not even close to the CFM the stock induction system on Civic/CRX's needs.

I'm not sure what they're actually used for, but I know you can still get them on eBay sometimes.

The only thing I ever thought about getting one for was to direct heat into the trunk/hatch area of a car while I was sleeping in it... never actually did it though, ended up using a ceramic heater.

LOL, as funny as that is, no.

I used to fold down the back seat of my 1988 Honda Civic LX and stick my feet in the trunk to sleep between shifts, instead of crashing at a friend's house. (I didn't have an apartment, and just got evicted by the state from the trailer I was living in, since the landlady couldn't provide a title for it, and it was technically on someone else's property... long story.)

So, basically, I slept in my car for about a month while working 2 full time jobs and a weekend part time job, until I quit all three and moved back up to PA/NY border to help my dad fix his house.

It was quiet, and quite comfy though, hard to believe.

It's true. Also, I used to live in a tent. It was awesome. Now my wife gets cold if she sleeps outside, so I must content myself to sleep in a basement instead.

Dude, my wife is pregnant... since getting pregnant, she's cold ALL THE TIME.

It's pretty close to 90* in our room.. and shes' covered with two blankets. Doctor said not to worry about it.

I actually hate sleeping outside anymore, used to love it when I was a kid though. Maybe during the summer, I'll put up a couple cots outside and sleep in one w/ a fire, but in the backyard... I'm not into sleeping in the woods anymore.

Your wife and my wife should do lunch by baking it in an oven, and while it's cooking, they should just sit in the oven with the food, so they can keep testing it to see if it's done, and they won't feel cold.

Agreed. In fact, when Christmas time comes, and I go up to my dad's house, I'm going to take her with me, so she can stand in front of his auxilliary heater... 50kBTU "Bullet" Heater.

Basically, a huge blower that burns diesel or kerosene and literally blows the fire out the front to heat the room/building/town.

It's rediculous, but it burns for all of 30-45 minutes to heat up the house from him being gone all day, and by then, the woodstove takes over.

Plus, it's 99.9% burn efficient, so there is no smoke from it, and you can run it indoors all day and it won't affect you. (We used to heat with it when the woodstove wasn't working due to chimney problems... or lack of a chimney, since it kinda fell down.)
