they were a mix of election signs, duct tape, zip ties, and an aluminum support.

I plan on making really nice all aluminum ones and maybe selling a few sets if everything works out.

So I'm a little above a half tank and the odo is reading 360 miles. I have to wait until payday to fill up but by my calcs thats about 60 mpg

I remember times when I first bought the car that the gas light would come on @ 300 miles.

Doubled...its amazing, i'll say it again

I have also given a few guys at work rides and they trip when I EOC. They all think i'm crazy. But this is the first time, even from before gas got expensive, that I don't have to worry about running out.

Back on track now

This Friday I will hopefully order a wideband controller to help monitor leanburn. Also I will start gathering parts for a MPGuino even though electronics scare me. I will also be able to afford a nice big sheet of aluminum for the skirts. I'm really missing my skirts

After some procrastination

Ordered all my parts for a Iduino MPGuino

Ordered a electric throttle lock cruise control

Ordered a wideband controller to monitor AFR's with spare L1H1

Fender bender

Still manages to get 57 mpg with some front end damage

I'm fine but my core support, hood, bumper, bumper support, both fenders, upper grill block are toast.

It drives just fine though. Glad I have full coverage.

I'll post up a pic tonight

If they do totally it, buy that baby back and fix it up. Civic HX's are too hard to find, and I bet the value on them has jumped several thousand dollars over this last trip in gas prices to 4.xx a gallon. Make sure they account for this when they try to low ball the crap out of you on the total settlement.

Throw on a carbon fiber or fiberglass hood, buy some ebay parts, fix up the bumper (great time to close up some of the openings for fogs ect).
