Request to delete account

What's who's got me wondering is Old Tele Man. He shows up in the Ecomodder photo feed, but threads like ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php?p=499901 turn up in the search, but he's not it the thread.

There should be a gone-but-never-forgotten list, separated from the spammers than never make it to 10 posts.

Just a friendly bump. I submitted an official request through the contact us link either 4/21/or 4/22 on the bottom. Just verifying after going through the longer than expected list of accounts to close.

Hmm, I didn't see anything. But I don't know how to delete accounts anyway. This sounds like a job for MetroMPG; you might want to message him directly.

I already edited my account to not be able to send/receive private messages. Does tagging work here like other forums I've used by adding the @ symbol?

FYI: when we delete accounts, we'll remove personal info like email, bio, sig, garage, albums etc.

But we don't remove all posts (unless they have specific personally identifying info in them). Because doing that can wreck threads in which other members have participated.

Well, gone9 is a goner, but can we use this as a teaching/learning experience?

What happens to stuff in the photo feed? Can we release albums into the wiki? I'd want to re-sort my albums. Is there any way to do that?
