Thanks. The Camry is a royal pain in the butt to work on. There is zero room in that engine bay, plus the dealer doesn't stock any of the normal gaskets and hoses you'd expect. So I've got both engines in pieces sitting in my driveway waiting for a stupid coolant hose and a power steering line.

Some minor updates, the new slave/master for the clutch should be here on Monday, so I'm figuring that will be installed and ready to go that weekend.

Got the windshield replaced today to the tune of around $300 bucks. Would have been cheaper but the side moldings uses these special little clips that break on removal.

As a heads up you would need the following
16x P/N# 91503-S3Y-003 $2.82/per

Yeah I know, but I wanted it done and I wanted them to warranty it without any problems, so I got them to get it. But now thats done, so no biggie.

So got the clutch slave and master in today. Beck Arnley clutch slave and master. Didn't go with Honda OEM cause that would cost $30 bucks more and there isn't anything special about this part. Hoping to have that installed this weekend w/ pictures.....

Now apparently I have to the get the stupid under hood emission stickers to pass my inspection with the DMV, its two bucks so I guess no biggie

On the subject of 'burping' coolant systems, on the Supra I use the front-in-the-air technique with the addition of an additional header tank pushed in the rad filler neck. Its made from a Powerade soft drink bottle (that screws into the rad filler neck hole) with its bottom cut off, sort of a funnel.
It can be filled to near the top and add a further 8" of height to the cooling system encouraging air to come out.

Either that or vacuum the cooling system when empty, then stick a hose from a modified rad cap into the coolant to suck it in

Thumbs up Nice

Nice Insight. Looks like you got a great price on it.. How much is the replacement battery pack? I was searching for one to buy and found this picture. How's this for inspiration?

No clue yet, but I figured I'd probably be out of pocket $1k-2k minimum. Been thinking of just keep going the junkyard route.

Thats a pretty clean Insight.......dang I need a free weekend to finish it
