Some guy built an off-road Prius with a camper for some reason
I believe that he said he will eventually scrap it, but I still wish that he had found a better solution than breaking the hatch glass.
Can't you use a guitar wire to remove the adhesive?
He gets in and out by climbing into the back seat, then into the hatch, and then into the camper, so I feel like properly cutting a hole in the roof would be better.
He hasn't even covered the rest of the hole in the hatch!
I also think that extending the back by a few feet would be preferable, just put a ladder back there that moves out of the way so you can access the hatch, and you can taper the top and sides slightly:

Why ruin a good car like that? It got fantastic MPG before turning it into an underpowered truck.

Lifted Prius is pre-ruined? Extend the back by a few feet and put wheels under it.

The wheels might have added to the problem, but I'm guessing the Prius has a top speed of 65MPH with that parachute attached to the roof.
The Prius already has a 0-60 of 11 seconds or something absurd. Slow it down further and you'll have to schedule a merge onto the highway in your calendar.

Radius all the edges (4% gross width) and it would gain a few... Cd points.

Ever drive a huge mileage bug in LA on The pomona freeway?
How much worse could that be?

The thing is, the Prius can already be slept in.
A regular minivan would be a luxury hotel compared to the ruined Prius, and still gets 30 MPG.

I drove a '69 Bug in high school and used the accelerator like an on/off pedal.

My uncle drove Studebakers, but he like to be comfortable when he drove -- both feet flat on the floor.

Like taking the hatch off and matching the camper to the opening.

Such as the Toppola kits meant for SAABs, and once in a while also fitted to some other models such as the Ford Sierra?
