They're smiling in the thumbnail, but if that hatch closed, I think they would not. I guess they'd have that little window below the spoiler?
I'm losing the struggle to enable NTP time synchronization.
techoverflow.net/2023/03/14/how-to-enable-or-disable-ntp-time-synchronization-on-the-raspberry-pi/
I successfully reset the time and date manually. ...to February, then every subsequent attempt erred.
After I restarted it finally took, and I could get Recent Posts working.

You know you've got to expose your machine to the dreaded Information Superhighway to get NTP working, right :P

Overnighting in the Dasher was similar, but with two doors. A Beetle is easier IMHO.
The Dreaded Information Superhighway is what complains about the clock. At some point, I'll throw a fresh OS image onto a micro SD card and try to set it on first boot.

I would expect the Dasher to be much better to use as living.. err.. camping quarters than a Beetle

How much fuel efficiency do cars lose when towing small trailers, not only from the increased wind resistance, but also rolling resistance?
Robert Smalls reported towing with his Prius C and "struggled to get 40mpg:" https://ecomodder.com/forum/showthre...s-c-30589.html Also, Old Mech shared a picture of his old Sentra, which had pretty flat hubcaps:
priusCpilot reported 46 MPG towing a trailer that sounded like it was 1/3 as heavy.
I don't remember the name from here, but JCP, Pale Malesian, and Basjoos ring a bell.
2016 Prius pulling a slick Husqvarna two-stroke bike, between 38 and 42 mpg with his Prius while towing the 800- to 900-pound load.
2022 Prius Prime towing a Grumman canoe with a 20-horse Tohatsu outboard motor on the back. No mention of MPG.
“People underestimate a car’s ability to do work, like pulling a trailer, and often buy vehicles that aren’t very sensible for day-to-day travel so that they can tow very light loads or utilize a truck bed just a few times a year."
2011 Prius with the 1.5-inch Prius Offroad [lift] kit, 205/65/R15 General Altimax RT45 tires, and stiffer rear coils. Pulls his ATV, dirt bike, and gear—as much as 2,300 pounds some weekends. It’s a regular thing, too, and he apparently gets 28 mpg when loaded to the gills.
"[I]f you’re regularly towing more than 2,000 pounds or so, it’s probably better to buy a bigger car."
Quote:
“I used to hate the Prius as someone who loves to drive fast, loves watching motorsports, and drooling over high-performance vehicles, but I tell you what, I’m a mechanic myself and tend to lean toward more sensible things that aren’t overpriced and the Prius is my car,” Burnside raved. “This is my third one and I expect it to last 250,000+ miles like the last two did.”

I saw many results on PriusChat and reddit, but the extra wheels don't seem to cause too much of a problem.

Unless it's something really underpowered, and with a gearing which may not be so suitable for the task, most likely the toll on fuel efficiency won't be too bad to justify upgrading to a truck. No wonder I see so many econoboxes with trailers. Sure, tow ratings may vary for the same model according to the local regulations.

Ingress-egress. The Beetle has a 2.5x6ft rack, while the Dasher had a shorter and wider space. More headroom with the platform at the level of the backbone tunnel instead of seat height..

Didn't you fold the rear seat of the Dasher?

Yes. Limited headroom under the hatch.

If you could find a rare Brazilian aftermarket rear hatch which imitated the shape of a station-wagon, that would've solved the problem...
Or a replica of that Toppola camper.
