Sure, no problem! Only managed octane requirement increase data on chassis dyno, and emissions chassis dynamometer test. Evaluated new motor oils, and coolants, also. BMW IVD test manager

Experienced in vaporizers
I'm an IT Manager. I've been building fuel vaporizers since the mid-1990's, and have my own website. . I've sold four types, or generations of them - the current one is the simplest and has no moving parts. Average mpg increases has been between 30-50%, with a 30% reduction in idling fuel consumption, and about a 90% reduction in NOX and CO emissions. I'm very happy to discuss design and compare notes with everyone.

Will book a session in a rolling road facility
It is apparent that road tests are not well regarded here. I've not considered running a test facility in the past, as I thought it would be expensive. Also I have done hundreds of road tests, with different vehicles, using the same roads and reasonably close conditions. But it will be good to get exact figures, and compare these against factory claims, and the cost is quite reasonable - much less than I had thought - about £40-50 ($64-$80) for a session. I would encourage more of you to consider it! It will also be good to see if there are any horsepower gains, as I have in the past relied on 0-60 times, which can be even more unreliable because of the number of variables. So I'm booking a session, and will show with pics, the results - mpg, power, and exhaust analysis. Thanks for the link, and the pfffft...

I'm new and ready to learn some tricks. My commute is a little over 140 miles a day and I'm going to start modifying in a couple of weeks. I hope to document my successes as well as my failures.

You're starting out with a good ride- The Sonic was a very close second when I got the Fit. There's a lot of info here, you're going to love what you learn- and the rest of us are going to love learning from your experiences too.

Mechanical engineer, plus a little IT on the side. Where I work, we build French fry fryers, very very large French fry fryers, plus just about anything with a conveyor at its heart, especially in the food industry.
