WTB: VX Rim

Does anybody know how/ where I can buy a Honda Civic VX rim?

I really just need 1 rim, but I would entertain the idea of a full set.

Craig's list, eBay... those are obvious. Less obvious would be that the 6th Gen HX wheels were only slightly weightier (less than a pound I think) and look almost identical. And they are slightly taller, which would give you a taller gearing effect. I have also seen guys talking about the fit of some Miata wheels onto these Civics, but I have not done it and you'd want to do your own research because I understand there can be issues. But some of the Miata wheels were 14" and just as light as these VX and HX wheels. Cast your net more broadly? .... take a look: Table of Wheel Weights

Check the Civic forums for discussion of fit, if you consider it.

Thanks. I called a few days ago about a listing for 2 HX wheels that appeared in late August on the LA list... they were sold already. I don't see a recent listing. Maybe I'm too rushed this morning...

I just took a set of 4 off of my CRX, with tires, and centercaps I actually live just in Alexandria too.

I am not really sure what they go for nowadays. Took me a while to track down a set back in the day.
