Hi from the land down under

Hi all,

am Victor from Australia Melbourne, driving a 2008 Mistubishi lancer CVT now.

Fuel economy was 10.5L/100km avg no highway driving.. bought a K&N drop in filter and the figure goes better, 9.2L/100km avg each fill up..

Looking forward to improve my driving style to so that my car drinks less dinosaur juice

Hi Victor, welcome on-board.

The 2 documents to be read here are the "100+ Hypermiling Tips" to improve your driving and the "60+ Efficiency Mods" to improve your car. See the top of all pages.

Having better driving will give you more rewards. If you have an onboard computer then drive by looking at your instantaneous consumption, this is a great tool to improve your understanding of how your car works and your driving. You should be able to achieve 7.0 L/100 and at the opposite of us, you are getting into hotter weather now, which means a better FE

Denis.
